love their lunch buffet; tasty food, good selection, very good price

I used to work at the deli, and I remember that we would be open every day of the year including holidays. (I worked holidays) The food is good around lunch from the buffet section after lunch they don't cook anymore for there. the deli section is the best bet though, although i don't really like the new cashiers that work there (very childish and kinda slow) the familiar faces in the deli always bring me back. It feels good coming back to somewhere in new york where something stays the same.

Be careful at this place. If you don't watch it they will not even put the right ingredients in your sandwich. They will use less expensive cheese, not put all the meat ingredients in, etc. I only go here if last resort because I no longer trust them.

I just recently moved into the neighborhood and was told to try this place. I've tried their sandwiches on random drunken nights and my friends and I have to say, their the most reliable around. You can try something new and it still tastes just as good as the last. Try the Spicy Chicken Cutlet on a Hero.

I am extremely picky when it comes to reviews, so when I say very good, I guarantee that you WILL BE PLEASED. I have ordered 6 sandwiches, delivery only, so I cannot comment on the atmosphere. The order takers need a little more training, but it is worth the extra couple minutes on the phone. Roast beef, turkey, pastrami are excellent. Get two bags of chips or sides, and you will easily have two meals. Hands down, best value I've encountered in NYC to date.

Great food. Creative sandwiches that are absolutely amazing tasting. Best sandwhich place in downtown ny. I should know, i tried them all while working there for 4 years.
