J.K. & Sons

I live around the neighborhood and by the most 6 blocks away and when I order delivery it can take up to 90 minutes. The food is a little pricey but nothing amazing . The waitress which there is only one is very nice even when the place is full. When you go it is nice and clean and very bright , I love it. I've known the business owners since birth and keep going but because its the only diner around here that's better than the diner near McDonald , in my opinion. Overall its an okay place. I rather go to ihop because yes it is expensive but more fulfilling even though Jk and sons has a different vibe of it. my feelings are very mixed about this place.

I ordered the baked ziti. It came very quickly and the delivery guy didn't have enough change for a $20....then the ziti was made like lasagna-layered. The noodles were flavorless all on the bottom, with a layer of ground meat with hardly no sauce, and a few slices of mozzarella. It bland and tasteless. Google the recipe and instructions for baked ziti...

I had my doubts about ordering from this place but their service is great!! Their food was hot and very good upon delivery. Not one discrepancy! I will definitely patron them again. I can't place a review on the atmosphere because I never went to the restaurant.

I walked by this place not knowing it was a diner for three months before I finally saw it, and it was one of my greatest Brooklyn revelations. In a neighborhood devoid of cuisine other than Mexican and Chinese, JK & Sons is a godsend. The food is simple and delicious and the restaurant itself is immaculately clean and bright. The waitress (there's only ever one) is lovely, amazing, and attentive- despite how busy it can get. Since discovering it, I've eaten there countless times and have never been disappointed. Their delivery is fast too. The only down side is that it closes early and isn't open on Sundays.
