There's a DINER in Bushwick!
I walked by this place not knowing it was a diner for three months before I finally saw it, and it was one of my greatest Brooklyn revelations. In a neighborhood devoid of cuisine other than Mexican and Chinese, JK & Sons is a godsend. The food is simple and delicious and the restaurant itself is immaculately clean and bright. The waitress (there's only ever one) is lovely, amazing, and attentive- despite how busy it can get. Since discovering it, I've eaten there countless times and have never been disappointed. Their delivery is fast too. The only down side is that it closes early and isn't open on Sundays.
