Not recommended
I just went to Jive Turkey this evening and I can't even begin to express how disappointed I am. I have known about them for years because of their TV appearances and I'm so upset over how much money I spent tonight. It seems that the owners have let all their media attention go to their heads and may have lost focus on how to make good quality food. The food is unappetizing. The turkey was just ok nothing I would ever go back for. The cabbage was under cooked yet it was burnt around the edges (sounds weird I know but true) The mac & cheese was just ok again nothing I would go back for. The Yam Brulee sounded really good when the girl behind the counter explained what was in it and when I got to my car and tasted it I could not believe how unappetizing it was. The macaroni salad was subpar. I had to spit it out along with the yam brulee. I tasted all the food and threw it in the garbage after one bite. I wish I could get my money back but they have a policy of "no cash refunds" they only allow you to exchange which I had to do with my raw burnt cabbage that I exchanged for the mac & cheese. I am definitely a foody and have been to many restaurants and I believe this was the most disappointing restaurant food experience I have had hands down.

I loved it! Will return for more
I fell in love with the idea of fried turkey years ago, but did not know where to try it until I saw this place featured on the Travel Channel. Wonderful, Wonderful, Delicious and finger licking. I had the cheddar sandwich, which is like a melt that features fried turkey with turkey bacon. Loved it. Loved the Strawberry Lemonade, which is homemade. The staff was delightful and guided me through the menu and offered recommendations. I thought it was great and will be back. VALUE: reasonably priced for the size of the portions ATMOSPHERE: Casual SERVICE: Friendly, Polite and Helpful

Gobbler beware
I have ordered from this place a couple of times, just hoping that it would get better, but I guess I was asking for to much. The food is not as good as you would think and the price is laughable for the quality and service you receive. I wish I would have read reviews on this place before buying anything, including the watered down tea that sits in the cooler until someone finally purchases it. Reading the reviews could have saved me money and time on food that is, trust me, not worth the wait.

I Don't Get It
People line up at holidays AROUND THE BLOCK to get the turkeys from this place. Are they really that good? Because the food isn't. I called tonight for a delivery and was not greeted by an employee but an automated message with an annoying, impersonal voice that kept going and going. I waited for about 7 or 8 minutes before anyone picked up my call. Then I was told by a not so friendly girl that they were no longer delivering. I asked her what time they stop, she said 830. It was 8:28 on my clock...but hey, maybe hers is faster. Went and picked up the food instead and it was just very blah. No seasoning. No taste. Dry Turkey.

Confused
The turkey sandwich is good... tastes like chicken... and mango lemonade is delicious. The mac and cheese was bland--no seasoning, no cheese? I want to order a fried turkey for Thanksgiving this year but I'm scared. If they screw up mac and cheese (Kraft does a better job out the box) can I really trust them to prepare a whole turkey? My mama will go off if I screw up her Thanksgiving dinner!

Don't Get It
Was excited to try out this restaurant when I saw on a tv program. Don't you have to serve good food to be featured on tv? Obviously not. Place is very small with bar area and about six stools for seating but I could live with that. What I can't live with is going out for a meal and having it taken out of a refrigerator and heated up in a microwave. If I wanted nuked food I would have stayed home and had a lean cuisine. As for the meal itself, I had the turkey wing with a side of mac n' cheese and yams. Turkey lacked flavor and was dry (hmm! could that be because it was nuked to death). Mac n' cheese was okay but yams had crushed pineapple in it which completely ruined it for me since that's all I was tasting. The two people who joined me for this disastrous experience were of the same opinion as well. Tasteless food with slow, almost unfriendly service for a not so cheap price (about $17 for meal and drink that's not freshly prepared and eaten sitting on a stool). I guess the only tasty thing I had was the soda.

disappointed
I ordered their cajun turkey in December and not only was it expensive, but dry and bland. After seeing this place on food network, I thought I was in for a treat-NOT! My aunt lives in BK and I told her about this place, she too tried it, only her visit was in person. Her turkey was just as dry and flavorless as mine. This place will not be in business for long.
