I am not sure what anyone else's taste palette is like, but I love Jung Du. The food is so flavorful and fresh I am from San Francisco and we are known for good chinese food and I think Jing Du is the best chinese I have had in the city thus far and I feel no need to try other places. I order online and they deliver quickly without fail. I give this restaurant two thumbs up.

I tried this place over my usual Chinese restaurant and am incredibly disappointed. I ordered Scallion Pancakes, Broc with Garlic sauce and the pan fried noodles. The scallion pancakes taste like cardboard, the pan fried noodles were hard and the broc was OK. The best thing was the white rice. I would never order from here again.

The food is extremely good and very fast service. The place is a little cramped up but i guess its NYC, otehrwise everything is very good...no complaints

Ill give it to them, they are fast. And the portions are big so you get a good deal for your money. But I shouldve gone with my instinct and not ordered thai food from a Chinese/Thai restaurant (which is clearly Chinese run- you can tell by the restaurant name and the accent when they answer the phone). I ordered the pad see ew, and well, the guy who reviewed the dish below me is 100% correct....its ok flavor wise, but NOT thai at all. NO thai flavor, no spiciness, and on the greasy side- you might as well order chow fun and at least know what you are getting. Pregnant and craving Thai food, I was disappointed....this is not Thai food. However, they do come fast as lighting and offer a fair priced lunch combo...so if thats what youre looking for, go for it. Next time Ill call them for Chinese food....

I was looking forward to a healthy meal and decided to walk to the restaurant for take out. I ordered steamed shrimp with broccoli and a side of brown rice. Simple enough. I asked if the ginger scallion sauce was a brown sauce. Answer was yes. When I arrived home, I came to find white rice, a white sauce and the most disconcerting thing of all was the shrimp. It looked like they had been breaded and fried with the breading removed and then resteamed. There were remanants of breading all over the shrimp. When I called to ask for the brown rice the lady asked me to come back to the restaurant. I called back again and they finally delivered it. With so many options in New York I am suprised they are still in business. Just to note too that the prices have all gone up.

Going through cravings, I needed some serious chicken w/ broccoli, scallion pancakes, and a veggie roll ASAP. I got my delivery within 15 minutes (so fast), and the food was piping hot and completely delicious! Will add Jing Du to speed dial!!

I order from here a lot! Great reliable chinese fare. Especialy because they have a great dinner special for $10 you get a lot of value + good quality food.. My Fav's are the shrimp toast, pepper steak, and who can deny a spicy chicken with string bean!
