Favorite Burgers in the City
First of all, JG's burgers are my favorite in the City. I have tried quite a few, and I keep coming back to theirs. Just live the flavor and simplicity. I also wanted to add that I don't understand the complaints about the service. The man who takes your name, is incredibly warm and friendly. The wait staff are matter-of-fact, sure, but they have never been rude to me. (And add me to the list of fans of their cottage fries.)

Not recommended
I can't understand why this place is always so crowded. The burgers were awful; the "fries" weren't fried--they tasted like they were boiled in lukewarm oil. Avoid at all costs!

awful service and decent food
If you decide to dine at this restaurant.. go knowing that you will be treated like dirt. The food is decent but not worth being treated like crap. Customer Service just isnt what it used to be.

Overrated
There is just really nothing special about this place. The food is good but there are much better burgers at similar prices in the city. The quality has certainly deteriorated over the years. The service is poor and if you order takeaway at the bar be sure to double and triple check your order because there is a lack of attention to detail. All in all, it is just not what it used to be.

its good but..
The burger is good, but really it's a bit overrated considering the wait time, lack of options for the burger, and boring fries. It's not overpriced and got a cool old school feel. I think it was worth it if there was not a big wait I guess.

yummy burger but bad attitude
I like going to this place with by BF but every time we go we get yummy burgers and a bad attitude from the staff members. I hope they retire soon because it seems like the younger generation working their would actually like to treat the customers properly. I love their delicious bacon cheese burger but there are plenty of other good burgers to be had in the city with less wait and less 'tude.
