I've been going here for years, and their burgers are the best in the city. Their fries and pecan pie are also great.

It is like a restaurant for hobbits, everything is tiny but the price! the burgers, the beers and the fries (which weren't fresh made) are appetizers. Have you ever gone out of a diner hungry in America ? well if you go there bring a lot of cash and make sure you are not hungry... PS: I'm skinny and I don't overeat.

First of all, JG's burgers are my favorite in the City. I have tried quite a few, and I keep coming back to theirs. Just live the flavor and simplicity. I also wanted to add that I don't understand the complaints about the service. The man who takes your name, is incredibly warm and friendly. The wait staff are matter-of-fact, sure, but they have never been rude to me. (And add me to the list of fans of their cottage fries.)

I can't understand why this place is always so crowded. The burgers were awful; the "fries" weren't fried--they tasted like they were boiled in lukewarm oil. Avoid at all costs!

If you decide to dine at this restaurant.. go knowing that you will be treated like dirt. The food is decent but not worth being treated like crap. Customer Service just isnt what it used to be.

There is just really nothing special about this place. The food is good but there are much better burgers at similar prices in the city. The quality has certainly deteriorated over the years. The service is poor and if you order takeaway at the bar be sure to double and triple check your order because there is a lack of attention to detail. All in all, it is just not what it used to be.
