Best burger on the UES
This is hands down the best cheeseburger on the UES and possibly Manhattan. Small burgers and pricey menu with everything a la carte but I still feel it's worth it. Cottage fries are great. Bottled beer is the way to go. Mixed drinks are tiny and full price. The wait there is grueling because there is limited seating, not much standing room and the juicy burgers are passing right under your nose. Try to go off hours.

The Real Burger Heaven
No better place for a bacon cheese burger.

Great burger on a tiny plate
The burgers are great, but the place is odd. They serve the burgers on tiny buns (which at least prevents distraction from the main attraction), and tiny plates. You have to ask for everything separately: lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, fries, salad. In addition to small buns and plates, the bar is small and the tables are very close together. But it's all worth it for a delicious burger experience! The fries are great also!

Great burger, almost!
The meat is fabulous, cooked to perfection. However, it comes clothed in the city's lousiest roll. The bottom gets soggy and disappears before the burger is finished. They really must find a better, heartier roll. Stick with simple drinks, their coctails are mediocer at best. The house wine also leaves much to be desired.

Burgers baby
A bar that is not really very bar-ish - too much focus on food has sadly changed the balance (unlike Bistro Burger) however in the UES it is a Mecca for a perfect yet small burger. You could nearly do two if hungry...better to share the 3rd with a S.O. The burger is perfect, the drinks well made, it's more expensive than some places but not for the area..if you want a Burger and a beer on the UES this is THE spot, bar NONE.
