    Don't bet on halo halo

I was excited to go there for my lunch hour and found out there is no halo halo til dinner! Seriously! So un-Filipino. Then I settled for lumpia shanghai to go. Expensive for 8 little pieces.

    Best Burger, NOT!

Went with my 3 cousins on Saturday 8/23, no res. so we sat at the bar- for the chori-burger, voted BEST by Time Out NY. Verdict: Fail; Too sweet banana ketchup over sweet longganisa beef patty. Kitchen lacked exhaust fans. Toilets were both dirty.Sorry Jeepney, you're too 'nouvelle' for me. This was my third visit. BTW, host w/cowboy hat, please lose the attitude and greet potential diners with a welcoming voice and smile.

Takes Filipino cuisine to a new level

Everything about Jeepney is phenomenal- the food is exquisite, and the service is impeccable (ask for Topher or Nicole). The ambiance is fantastic- takes Filipino fine dining to a new level, combining NYC night life with great music (90s hip hop!)

    Wonderful experience

Okay first off, I don't know what these other people are talking about. I went last night with my boyfriend and we had a blast. The food is on the expensive side, but it IS worth it. The appetizer ribs were ridiculously good. He had pork shoulder for his main course and I had the chicken. Both were phenomenal, extremely tender. Plus we got coconut rice on the side that was scrumptious. They also have this really weird shot... I THINK it's called weng weng. I strongly recommend giving it a chance if you are very adventurous. It's unusual but I liked it a lot. They give you a shot of gin and then you follow it up with a shot of vinegar. I know this sounds insane, and that's because it is insane. Their cocktails are very well made, and their prices are on par with cocktails in the area. The waiters were really attentive and playful. And in the back room there are naked women on the walls. I thought that was fun and hilarious. You should really give this place a shot, just go and try the ribs appetizer and I'm convinced you'll be sold.

    over rated

we have to wait 15 mins even though we have reservation at 6 for kamayan night ,its over crowded, too expensive and when you leave the place you smell like fried fish, that i have to send my coat to the dry cleaner, The only good thing was the staffs are friendly. better to go to BLT prime for my money spend. not recommended..
