    Amazing Noodles

I read a lot of bad stuff about this place, but they're one of the only Japanese places with ramen in the EV that take cards so I did it. If only Rai Rai Ken, Minca or even that place near Astor took cards, I would have gone there, but... They were great on the phone. Very courteous. The order came relatively quickly. Good experience. The food: the soup dumplings were small for $5.50. I wouldn't get them again, but whatever. I got the beef noodle dish with ramen. It was amazing. Not only did it come in two parts -- one for the noodles and beef, etc and one with the broth -- it tasted so good. AND they sent a little sipping ramen/noodle spoon to eat it with. This place rocks. Will def order from here again. Don't believe the hate. Maybe the sushi isn't great, but from my experience, the noodles rock!!

Good Food, Top Service, Fun Atmosphere

I love their shrimp tempura rolls, california rolls, and noodles. Very attentive staff.

Price was right but food was just okay

We ate here this past weekend and I thought it was just okay. I agree with the previous review that the place is nice and roomy and you don’t feel crowded or stuffed in at all. The tables and benches are well spaced with ample room. The wait staff was pleasant. I ordered something new - the Silver Needles- and they were kind of gross – really slippery and rubbery. Maybe that’s the way they are supposed to be but after eating about one quarter of my food I just felt kind of sick. The other ingredients (carrots, onions, chicken, pork and shrimp) were good. The flavor of the sauce was good – just a little bit of spice but nice. My partner ordered some kind of chicken flat noodle dish and thought it was a little on the salty side but overall okay. The dishes did come out at completely separate times so it was a little weird. If I would have waited for my partner’s food to come out, mine would have been cold. It also took a very long time to get our drinks. I ordered the lychee saketini and my partner ordered a bottled beer. The one part that I felt was really bad was the bathroom. There’s no real light, just a blue/black light. It made the whole bathroom feel really nasty dirty because you really couldn’t see well. It just made me feel gross the whole time I was in there. I’m sure it’s supposed to be trendy but to me, it just felt dark and dirty. Overall, I thought the price was right but that the food was just okay. If you’re not in a hurry and don’t mind your food coming out at all different times, I would recommend you give it a try, otherwise try someplace else.

    LOVEd it

Every sushi place I walked into on St. Marks was way too small for my liking, so when I walked in to Je'Bon I was very pleased. It is roomy, friendly and fabulous. The food and drinks were delicious. The atmosphere is fun!. It isn't exactly cheap, but it is definitely not too expensive, especially since it is such a nice place to relax and hang out. The sushi rolls were very good and I recommend the lychee martini. I will definitely be back very soon.

    Don't Make This Mistake

Went here after reading the reviews- Had high hopes as the host was very upbeat and the menu looked tasty- However things got bad quickly (it's never a good sign when most people are drinking, not eating). I got the salmon and asked for the Teriyaki on the side. My food came out ten minutes before my girlfriend's (not sure why she had to watch me eat and vice versa). And of course, there was teriyaki sauce drizzled over not only the salmon, but the broccoli and rice as well. My girlfriend got some kind of noodles that were so greasy and salty she barely touched it. The waitstaff was rather catatonic, either stoned or really depressed. After paying the bill, I was a little depressed myself.

    Love it!!

One of my favorite sushi places...I love that it's an Asian Fusion thing...the food is awesome...and definitely not too pricey. Definitely recommend!
