Chocolate Cake w/ strawberries & whipped cream...OMG
I had to pick a cake for a 30th birthday. The party was Friday night and I was calling around Friday afternoon...frantically. I read some reviews and decided to call Jean Danet. So happy I did. My friend wanted a chocolate strawberry shortcake. I chose the chocolate cake w/ chocolate mousse and strawberry filling and whipped cream outside w/strawberries. It was a BIG hit. EVERYONE especially the birthday girl loved it!! Fresh strawberries on the inside, the chocolate cake wasn't too sweet or too bitter....just right. They all asked where we got the cake. The service was great on the phone and in person. Everyone was very helpful. I will purchase my birthday cake from here at the end of the month...this time I'll try the buttercreme.

great place, yummy food
This place is so good - the pizza from the wood burning oven is excellent, the cheesecake is also excellent, they have gelato and lots of pastries, and it's a small place like a cafe that's never busy and a great place to meet a friend for coffee or a meal, very low-key yet excellent quality, I hope it lasts a long time!
