The best deli meats
Old fashioned deli. The best pastrami & corned beef. Great sandwiches. A true deli

Friendly and Delicious!
I am a newfound fan of Jay & Lloyd's. The pastrami on rye (even though it's a bit pricey for my wallet... i'm cheap) is well worth every single penny. The Ellen woman below who had a bad run in with take-out needs to calm down! The owners go out of their way to make sure their customers are happy. I showed up there 10 minutes after closing CRAVING a sandwich and even though their registers were closed they unlocked the door and made me my order fresh to go. They've also been known to come up to the tables themselves to make sure everyone is happy with their food and to crack some jokes with you. I would HIGHLY recommend this deli if you're looking for something authentic, scrumptious and a just an overall great experience.

Old School Deli At It's Best!
You need not travel to Manhattan for the right pastrami on rye. Jay & Lloyd's keeps it real without the gimmicks and without requiring a financing statement. If the old fashioned pastrami or corned beef on rye doesn't do it for you (check your pulse if this is the case), the roster of insanely good sandwiches (try the brisket with onions and chopped liver on rye) will induce happy flashbacks for years to come. The setting is perfect for the family and the proprietors always have time to come by and ask how things are going. Easily the best deli in Brooklyn... and probably the City!

Top Notch Deli
In the 12 years I've been a regular at Jay & LLoyds both for take-out and eat-in dining, we had a problem just once. The liver we brought home wasn't as good as always so we brought it back-got an apology-and an exchange. Don't know if the previous poster consumed the product before calling or if it was brought back to the store. My family has always found the food to be of good quality and the concern of its owners for their customers to be on a high level.

Boy, whas I wrong about Jay & Lloyd's!
I know I posted a glowing review of Jay & Lloyd's, but that was before I ran into a service issue with them. My 85 year old mother ordered a turkey platter for delivery (she was home ill), and the quality of the meat sent was terrible! They sent the dried-out end pieces of turkey that they never would serve in the restaurant. When I called the next day to complain to one of the owners; his response wasn't that he would send a replacement to my mother, but rather "aw, next time you're in the restaurant remind me and I'll give you some extra meat". Is he kidding? We won't be back, so he can keep his extra meat. They should be ashamed of themselves!

Great Deli!
Great deli! Excellent corned beef, roast chicken, potato knishes, zucchini pancakes, and sweet potato fries!
