    A Great Sandwhich

I'm rarely in this part Brooklyn. I miss the neighborhood kosher deli. However, Jay & Lloyd fills the void. I had a brisket on rye to go, a small cole slaw, and the complimentary sour pickles. The brisket, tender and tasty, was the best I haven eaten in a long time. The cole slaw was fresh. The pickles delicious. They were the perfect compliments to the sandwich.

you get what you pay for

sure its a little bit more expensive than other places. but if i wanted a sandwich for half the price i would have to go to a corner store and get meat thats weeks old. im always satisfied when i eat here or take out. anybody that complains clearly doesnt know what they are talking about.

Just what I looking for was for.

As a lifelong Brooklynite and patron of many a deli meal, this was my first experience with this restaurant. I took out a brisket on rye, a side of cole slaw, and the throw in sour pickles. Everything was just right. In the now desert of Brooklyn kosher delis, this is an oasis. I will be back to sample even more of their menu.

    Impressed with themselves

They used to be more customer oriented. Now they don't care. The only good thing is that the food is still good. attitude is if you don't like it don't come back.

    Hit Or Miss

Sometimes it's great, and other times it is not good at all. I've been eating here for years now but at times I get disappointed in their slack to serve fresh food like other times.

    Everything delish but...

Our first visit since the modernization & the deli really looks nice. Our barley-mushroom soup was wonderful & the kasha varniskas were super. We ordered a pastrami on club and while their pastrami is excellent there really wasn't much meat on the sandwich-I know kosher costs more but at $13.95 for just a sandwich we will come back for sure but not for a sandwich. Some sandwiches seemed to be packed with meat-others less so-I would think it would be proper to weigh out the same for all.

    A Very Happy Birthday!

My husband made a 21+ birthday party for me & 14 guests. Everyone enjoyed the soup, delicious sandwiches & platters of chicken fingers & steak fries. Jay & Lloyd ordered a non-dairy birthday cake which was delish! Cannot say enough about the quality of service by our servers, kitchen help and of course Jay & Lloyd who repeatedly came over to make sure everyone was doing well-ready for my 22+ party!
