Jay & Lloyd's Kosher Deli

They used to be more customer oriented. Now they don't care. The only good thing is that the food is still good. attitude is if you don't like it don't come back.

Sometimes it's great, and other times it is not good at all. I've been eating here for years now but at times I get disappointed in their slack to serve fresh food like other times.

Our first visit since the modernization & the deli really looks nice. Our barley-mushroom soup was wonderful & the kasha varniskas were super. We ordered a pastrami on club and while their pastrami is excellent there really wasn't much meat on the sandwich-I know kosher costs more but at $13.95 for just a sandwich we will come back for sure but not for a sandwich. Some sandwiches seemed to be packed with meat-others less so-I would think it would be proper to weigh out the same for all.

My husband made a 21+ birthday party for me & 14 guests. Everyone enjoyed the soup, delicious sandwiches & platters of chicken fingers & steak fries. Jay & Lloyd ordered a non-dairy birthday cake which was delish! Cannot say enough about the quality of service by our servers, kitchen help and of course Jay & Lloyd who repeatedly came over to make sure everyone was doing well-ready for my 22+ party!

I had a special birthday party in my home and decided to have Jay and Lloyd cater it. It was excellent. The food, service and timely manner of the delivery was "spot on". It was my first experience and it certainly will not be my last with these people.

this deli was a great find. i occasionally go to other deli's in the city, but i'm not loving them anymore. the corned beef and pastrami here was outstanding. the brisket was also very good. the staff is friendly. we will definitely be back!

Can't beat the pastrami or the corned beef. Food is always good
