Brunch worth rolling out of bed
Great food, good location, and fairly quick service. a really nice brunch spot.

Wonderful
Went for lunch today, finally, after hearing so much about this place. The food was excellent, so was the service, nice size portions and the prices are reasonable. I had the mussels, which were excellent, and their fries are great. The ahi tuna salad, salmon burger, hamburger & grilled chicken were all hits. It can get a drop too noisy, but the space is lovely. All in all, would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

Get your eat on....
and your drink too. I love love love Jane. This is not your three star disappointment/ rip off. You do not look at the menu there and think what the heck is that? You want good, well seasoned yummy-ness on a plate, don't you? This is the place for you. Grab your friends or your superhot date and order everything! (gnocci, pork chop, green beans never disappoints.)

Great Place - Going Back Soon
Food was awesome - gnocchi appetizer goes down as one of my all-time favorites. So many good options, will have to go back and try the ones I didn't get. Prompt, attentive service. Prices were moderate. Atmosphere was quite nice, but I could see it getting too loud (it was headed that way when we left - around 9:30pm).

I love you Jane
Jane is like my favorite pair of jeans. Comfortable, stylish, suitable for many different kinds of occasions, and impossible to get sick of. In the past few years I've eaten at Jane about 25 times, tried almost everything on the menu, and never failed to have a great experience. The food is not the most amazing to be found in New York, but the menu is uniformly delicious and the quality never disappoints. The servers are attentive and courteous. Desserts and brunch are delicious. I love to try new restaurants but Jane is the old standby. It's good for both couples and groups, it's never hard to walk in or get a reservation even though it's always busy, good for both casual and special occasions, and reasonably priced. Jane really gets it right.

Exceeded expectations
Went for brunch yesterday for my mom's birthday. Had never been before and had read some mixed reviews so I was a little apprehensive. Wow-this place was fabulous! Everything people ordered was delicious and the portions were more than sufficient! We had the salmon scramble, egg white omelette, benedict johnny, grilled chicken sandwich and granola. Even the fruit salad was huge and tasty. Nice bread basket and the brunch even comes with a drink! They were so nice and sent over a complimentary order of the french toast for the table. The place was jammed. Must have a reservation. We can't wait to go back!

My ears are still ringing
The food at Jane is delicious but if you want to enjoy conversation with your companions, you should finish dinner by no later than 9:30pm. This is absolutely the loudest restaurant i've ever been to! However, now that i know that, i will plan accordingly and either eat early or if the weather is nice, request a quiet table outside along Houston street.
