Not impressive..doesn't worth the trip
This spot doesn't worth the trip..food is really average, cocktails are not tasty..and the service could be better. Conclusion: A good spot for tourists, but not for new yorkers..

another great brunch spot!
I went here with my girlfriends for sunday brunch - we made reservations, but for some reason, this particular sunday was slower than most, as usually there is a line /wait out the door. Jane serves bread with strawberry jam, which was delicious. I ordered the french toast - which was wonderful - brioche/creme brulee with syrup. It was a melt in your mouth type dish. If I hadn't been so full from the bread/strawberry jam, I probably would have licked my plate clean! All brunch meals come with your choice of brunch cocktail (or just plain orange juice), so I had the raspberry champagne cocktail. I would definitely recommend this place and will go back again. The atmosphere is good for girlfriends, significant others, families, etc.

great delivery
Ordered delivery today and was super impressed with both the transaction on the phone and the product that was deilvered. Awesome ceasar salad with salmon on the side and a cookie. TOO GOOD. Its a solid place for dine in and delivery.

disappointed!
A recent visit: our hostess was unimpressive in manner and offered us a seat right beside the kitchen door, in a largely empty dining room. Our waiter was genial. Entree: The artichoke risotto was awash in butter and saffron, with no discernible artichoke taste, in spite of apparent lumps of artichoke in the mix. The goat cheese flatbread appetizer was good. Salads were adequate. Dessert, the profiterole, was good. Cocktails: only the Spring Fling was tasty a margarita and a passionfruit concoction were syrupy-sweet. The check was presented right after dessert was served, yet dinner plates had sat, untouched, for quite a while.

Great All Around
This place is a great find. I first went with my husband and another couple for New Year's Eve dinner. The food was fabulous and the price was decent. Free champagne was included. We thought that we would get 1, maybe 2 glasses but the waiters were constantly refilling our glasses with bubbly - which we loved! The red velvet cake was delish as well. We recently went back again for Sunday brunch and again, weren't disappointed. With each meal, you receive a free drink. The mimosa was great and so was the Raspberry Champagne Cocktail. The Salmon Scramble was good, but the Farmhouse was even better. The wait was about 10 min with a reservation, not bad for a packed house. I totally recommend!

Great Place - Food, Service, Atmosphere
This is a hidden gem. Restaurants is our hobby, and we still managed to be surprised by this one - excellent food (try the gnocchi appetizer and steak frite for main course), extraordinary service, and chique ambience. Go!

Love Jane!
My boyfriend and I have been to Jane twice over the past few months. We love the butternut squash risotto and the cookies and milk for dessert! The roasted organic chicken is also delicious. The service is very attentive. We highly recommend Jane!
