Good food, poor service
I totally agree. They also have problems delivering the correct order! "The burgers are fantastic, but calling an order in can be a problem. Sometimes they won't answer, sometimes they'll cut you off. If you're lucky, they'll just leave you on hold for a while"

Delivery not recommended
I used to order Jackson Hole quite often for lunch, but can not continue to do so. While the food is often good, the condition and timeliness of the food delivered is deplorable. I've waited in excess of two hours for orders, which when finally delivered, looked like someone stomped on the dish repeatedly with much of it splattered all over the inside of the bag. I've put up with this sort of sub-par service far too long hoping it would get better, but I'm done; never again.

Great food, but ordering is a pain.

well worth it
Dining in midtown is often an exercise in futility. Bad food couple with bad service and ridiculously high prices is sadly becoming the norm. I was hesitant to try Jackson Hole as I heard how it has fallen from grace etc. that said my co-worker and I tried it this afternoon. We ordered the daily special, a BBQ cheeseburger with fries and a soda (it was a Friday, I normally eat like a rabbit!) for $7, a bargain by midtown standards and worthy of my once weekly splurge. While I would not say it was the absolute best hamburger I had in my life it was certainly very tasty, very big and among the best I have had in NYC at a more than fair price at lunch. Service was adequate, prompt and effective, decorations/atmosphere was fun and appropriate for both kids and adults, its a burger place, not a AAA/Michelin place! All in all a good experience, I would certainly go back for the food alone, bonus points for serving two people with tax and tip for under $20, a near miracle for any meal out in NYC.

Home of the good burgers :)
One of the second best burgers in the city, we go here all the time. The burgers are thick, & fullfilling with a good taste but I would say that the pickles are even better than the burgers. The price isn't bad either, good quality...definitelty recommend!!

I was surprised!
I recently visited this Jackson Hole! And I must say, I was very surprised by the quality of the mushroom burger there. I really wasn't expecting much from this place, and I wasn't really looking forward to going there either. I just wanted to get a quick bite, and the place was there. Don't know if the other food is good there, but I went there around lunch time, and the place was full of people. Credit should be given where it's dued. Good job JH!
