Incredibly rude staff, one guy in particular (sounds like the restaurant manager, or at least acts like he is the manager) is really pushy over the phone. In addition to the lack of professionalism, the burgers are pretty gross, which is surprising considering this is supposed to be their specialty. The quality of the beef used is subpar, so they try to compensate by using a huge patty served with large side of tasteless fries. The platter I received had a soggy bun. Big platters does not equal customer satisfaction Jackson Hole. To upper management, I'd suggest they work on getting better ground beef and do something about the passive aggressive guy answering the phone, he has a real attitude problem.

After years of going elsewhere, I was ravenous and craved an Akaboura Burger which used to be a favorite, so I ordered one. The delivery guy was friendly and reasonably prompt with my order, but that's all that was good about it. Ordered medium, it arrived well done, lukewarm, and was oddly flavorless (This in a burger that's augmented with cheese, sauteed onions, and green peppers!) It was big and filling but hardly a pleasure to eat...and it cost $20 as a platter with tip, a lot for a burger.

I went to Jackson Hole in January 2014 and ordered the Cheeseburger Platter. The burger (I ordered well done.) was exellent, moist and fresh. The grilled/caramelized onion really complimented the burger. The fries were tasty too. The service was good. The resturant is set up like a basic diner/bar restaurant. Nothing fancy. It's small/medium sized, quaint and clean.I've been to many burger joints in NYC the Jackson Hole is the best for burgers for well over 10 years.

What's with the scathing reviews? This place is still a reliable comfort food mecca. The burgers are enormous and delicious, with a wide range of price and variety. The menu is vast. The decor is clever. The service, while not stellar, is friendly enough. I will continue to patron Jackson Hole when only a burger will do.

Been ordering here for past + years. Recently all the delivery orders seemed to get screwed up. They forget to add sodas, sauces or they cook the burgers totally wrong. I asked for rare and got totally well done. On top of that, their delivery takes forever. Sucks because they used to be good and reliable.

I've been ordering from Jackson hole almost 7 yrs and I must say in the past months the food and service have gone down immensely. Ordered tonight at 8:15, at 9:30 the apparently "new" person who took my order called to verify my cc. She was off on our expiration date. At 9:50 still no food spoke to manager who assured me food was in the way. At 10:15 alleged food arrived. Besides the fact that Jackson hole charged our card conveniently at 9:00 our food arrived iced cold and completely wrong. Called Jackson hole and the manager said to ignore that delivery , our "real" food would be there any minute . 15 min later at 10:30 (mind u 1 1/2 hours since we ordered) another delivery arrived. Apparently they sent the bus boy who was not so happy and advised me 3x in 2 min he wasn't a "delivery" guy but the bus boy (really annoying and whatever that means for the customer. Regardless our order was wrong. Orders plain cheese quesadillas with no guacamole and received chicken quesadillas w extra quacamole. Burger was wrong as well. Between the poor service, the delivery man's attitude, the 1 1/2 hour delivery time for the wrong food my husband and I are done with this place. Plenty of other burger joints in Murray hill that are on point :-(
