    burger no good

I read previous reviews saying the burgers were the best. We got 2 burgers with soggy buns. The burger was too thick and not very tasty. The fries tasted like baked potato.

    Best Burger In Town

Good meat and more than enough of it. For those nuts'os who think Jackson Hole is over rated, try having a Jackson Hole burger than go across the street to the Firehouse and try their burger. You will never go anywhere else for a burger again. The only problem with a Jackson Hole burger is that it might be too big to pick up with your hands... and their pickles stink.

I have been an upper westsider my entire life and i've been eating at jackson hole since i was little girl. its a great restaurant, they're family-friendly, they have the widest variety of burgers i have ever seen, the price is right and the owners are the coolest, nicest most genuine people ever. i highly recommend this restaurant.

    There might be a reason...

Sometimes a place is really good when they first open or might not have been very good at all, but people are overwhelmed by the idea of a bigger, meater burger with enough toppings to choke a horse. There are a number of places I'd heard were "fantastic" -- for example a little hamburger joint in mid-manhattan that you have to enter by way of a hotel entrance way. I was told this place was a must. The burgers were flavorful -- I'll give them that -- but I was pretty hungry and I seriousl y doubt the size of this thing was much bigger than a poker chip. Your best bet. Buy your own ground beef. Season it, stick it in the back of your fridge for a day and cook 'em up, eat 'em up. You know what's in it and takes less time than having it delivered. Of course, you do get stuck with the dishes. Man

    i'm boycotting

for mediocre food, the fact that it took almost an hour for them to deliver 5 blocks away was infuriating. Don't order this in.

    Was that a hamburger?

The hamburgers at Jackson Hole (the 3rd Av @ 35th) were not at all what I expected. From what I had heard they were supposed to be amazing, and in reality they were sub-mediocre. BenS checked out how they made it, and from what i saw it seemed dead on. I basically got a clump of ground meat in a circular shape, on cheap buns with pretty sad fries. I can't say it wasn't juicy on the inside, but it wasn't the good juicy. On the upnote, bring a small ziplock bag so that you can steal the pickles when you're done, they're pretty good.
