Best damm hamburger in New York
You can't ask for a better burger or breakfast than any of the Jackson Hole restaurants. Been eating here for 40 years know the owners since the Connecting Highway days. in the early 70's. Great value and cleanest eatery in New York and NJ.

Loved this place 28 years ago!
Glad to see it is still there and my favorite burger, the Kaluba, is still on the menu. Live in the midwest now, cattle country, but Jackson Hole still rates the best in my book! Will make a trip there next time Im in town!

When is the customer right?
Brought out of town guests to my favorite burger spot. Been going for over 30 years. Allergic to pork, cut my burger in 1/2 ate half, started to prepare the second half to eat, noticed bacon cooked into the cheese, another waitress, other than the one I ordered from, offered to help. Took the burger away and brought back the same burger minus the bacon! My waiter returned to the table, removed the burger and asked if I wanted anything else. I said no thanks. Waited way to long for the bill. Had to call the restaurant, in order to get the waiters attention, as well as the bill! When the bill came the burger was still on there. They wanted me to pay for the burger! I complained and was told that half of the burger was eaten, along with half the fries! :{ What do you think? Is this good customer service?

Breakfast
I shouldn't be writing this cuz I don't want you to crowd me out. But they have fresh squeezed oj and real maple syrup and delish breakfast selections. But keep going to the wack Greek diners around it please. Thank you.

It's a burger joint
Have been to this location twice in the past few months and have been totally satisfied with the hamburger and fries that I and my fellow dinners ordered. Both times the service was attentive and friendly. Most recently sat in their small outdoor garden which was pleasant. Two or more can share a starter caeser salad (with your choice of homemade dressings) to accompany a great juicy burger and good steak fries. Not sure I would order other food items here since whether at this location or any of the other locations all I've ever eaten at a Jackson Hole was a burger...and a good, large, juicy burger sometimes is just what one wants and needs...and Jackson Hole consistently has met that want and need.

Not recommended
When I & my friend went this place, I ordered a $8.35 burger then the waiter asked me just saying "do you want fries?" I thought that's the one choice coming with the burger, so I asked him "what else do you have?" he said they have baked potato, onion ring, coleslaw. he never explained those are side menus & they're gonna charged $3.50 extra as a platter. My friend ordered a glass of beer & a $10.45 appetizer. When it came to our table, it came with bread which was $0.80. She was wondering why they made it like a sandwitch. When we paid, we found out that they charged us a bit more than we expected for each order. We asked the waiter & finaly their manager too, they are not nice at all, no appologies but lies. the waiter said that my friend ordered bread, she wanted it as a sandwitch... no way, who order what you even don't think about? They put more foods on your plate withont telling you but charge you. Please don't go to this place. Their burger was disappointing anyway.

Basic knowledge not known
I visited the location on 2nd/84th St. Ordered burger medium rare. When it was served to me it was dead. Totally dried out. I never bring food back but was hungry and looking forward to eating that burger. They cooked me another one -- again I asked for it rare -- slightly pink on outside. It came back to me completely raw, bloody, not cooked at all. Practically tartare. Once again sent it back. The waiter stopped by infrequently so I had to go up to the kitchen. When the waiter did show up I showed him, this is RARE, this is not medium-rare. He insisted it was cooked when it WASN'T it was mush. He was neither helpful nor apologetic; I wound up bringing it home and cooking it the rest of the way myself. They have kids working who have no idea how to treat customers.
