    Good Burgers

The Burgers are cooked Fresh right there on the grill for everyone to see... They take the ground meat roll it up and Bingo ! Been going there for 15 years Never seen a Microwaved Hamburger... Is it pricey ? yes a bit but you also get lots of food for your money. One of the Biggest Burger I have seen .

Overpriced? Yes, Still ordered from? Yes.

This place is a diner with just a tiny bit of chutzpa. The best thing going is that there are comfort foods here that aren't on other menus that you love, either because you've grown up loving them or you've come to love them somehow. At best, its a treat of naughty foods you shouldn't have but love. At worst it's an overpriced diner of basic food staples. Typically somewhere in between. Open late is a big draw. An overpriced tuna-melt and onion rings at 2am? This is your place. I always feel guilty when I infrequently order here, but I do order once in awhile....

Best Burger in the Big Apple!

You will NOT be served a previously frozen burger pattie here. The burgers here are works of art created from freshly ground beef. Flavorful and creative combinations. The restaurant is small, but the atmosphere is great and the service is wonderful!

    Great chicken sandwich

Ordering in -service is quick and my order is always accurate. My favorite chicken sandwich in the city. Burgers are good too, very fresh and good quality. You get a lot of food for the price.

    downhill

i grew up on jackson hole in astoria queens but i must say the food has gone downhill. the food is rushed out by short order cooks and they are sloppy looking and tasting. the fried chicken is a joke. i miss the old days when going to jh was a treat. they need to change the menu and care more about the food. get back to old school diner food!

    Subpar Burger

On 4/12/09 I ordered a Chili Burger Platter to go. I requested the burger to be cooked medium. What I found was dissppointing. The burger was well done & dry with no taste. The bun was soggy on the bottom and uneatable. The top bun had six to eight beans pressed into it and no chili sauce on the burger. The fires were not cooked and were soft and soggy. After tasting the buger it was dispatched into the trash. I did eat the tomatos and lettuce. All of this fcost almost $14.00. Bad day in buger town. I won't be going back anytime soon.
