Love It!
Jack is me and my boyfriend's favorite restaurant in the city... period. We live right around the corner, and we go there on average once every week, whether it be for brunch on the weekends, or dinner during the week. I've never had a complaint about that place, and all I have to say to people who do... don't come back! Jack has a loyal following, so for people who don't get how awesome it is, just shove off. A few words before I go: Wine discovery wednesdays, steak frites, basil ice cream, eggs benedict, bacon, onion and guyere tart, Tara, Julie, wine, servers, rosemary bread pudding, pumpkin bisque. I think that says it all.

Jack's is our new favorite place!
From Mussels Monday to Wine Discovery Wednesday to Sunday Brunch, Jack's just gets better and better. 25% off all wine bottles on wednesdays is awesome - they have a great wine collection! the mussels are great, yummy burger, out of this world fries, I could go on and on! I really recommend this cute neighborhood place to anyone who wants good food, great service, a lovely atmosphere to relax in.

My new favorite
French bistro food is my favorite and I love, love, love the food and atmoshpere at Jack! I have been taking everyone I know from my family to my boyfriend. I have been going at least twice a week and have not had a bad meal yet! The mussels, frites, and grilled chicken are especially good. The staff could not be warmer and the food is very resonably priced. I have even ordered in a few times.

Great Neighhood Addiditon
Happy to see this place open in the neighborhood. Food is very good, have been disappointed yet on several visits. Service is fine, non-obtrusive, yet attentive and friendly. Prices are resonable and atmosphere is comfortable. Noise level is good, no reason to shout across the table and come home with a sore throat. As they say, "try it, you'll like it".

a jewel
This is a perfect addition to my neighborhood...I live next door and frequent this place very often. The food is great - clearly not supposed to be a 5 star gourmet restaurant, so keep your perspetives straight. The wine selection (not to mention serving size) is over the top...have no clue what you are talking about, "not what we need"...don't come back: your loss... Cozy, friendly, warm atmosphere...Crave the mussels and scallop salads every other night

Not what we need
Had high hopes for this place. Supposed to be a french bistro in the village, more like a mediocre diner. Food is dull and poorly presented. Service is not good. The bartender was the best thing about the place, but he's gone now. Wine by the glass is over-priced with a weak selection. A disappointment.
