Great appetizers
Ambience is really nice, like a high-end-ish Vermont restaurants in ski country. I thought the appetizers were great, superior to the main courses. Next time, I'll stick with the spectacular charcuterie app, the unreal smoked trout salad, and the delicious mac & cheese.

Check it out
Yes, the mussels are excellent. The chops are too. Try the soup. JTHT is a good value with excellent food and helpful service. Go for a walk along the Promenade when the weather is nice -- perfect cap to the evening.

Excellent for a night out in Brooklyn Heights
The Mussels are excellent. They once had a shrimp and chorizo risotto as a special that was absolutely superb. Strong beet list and innovative cocktails, and the service has always been friendly. Brunch food was good, but I'd come here for dinner; maybe take a stroll up the nearby waterfront promenade afterwards and watch Manhattan glitter away.
