I like the Bacon Egg and Cheese! Try a grilled cheese with two different kinds of cheeses- its heaven. The grilled cheeses take a little longer but they are worth it.

while i love their jumbo iced coffee, the staff is mean and in no way infuses love into my morning routine. i once asked for one of their hand tossed salads and they rudely told me to do it myself. despite my hatred of j2, they have the biggest cheapest iced coffee in the area and they deliver...sigh.

Never have I felt like I'm eating a home cooked meal in NY. I love J2!!

J2 redefines the word deli with one oft-overlooked ingredient: love. It's not one of those "Give me the money, here's a nondescript sandwich" establishments. They take pride. They bring joy. They add love. The sandwich specials change daily, so every day is like Christmas morning. Will it be the Monte Cristo, or a fantastic Rueben. Or perhaps Vessel? And let us not for a moment forget the daily standards. Where else can you get a solid burger, fries and a 20 oz. soda for under 6 bucks? Nowhere, that's where. And while we're on the subject, Taste of Heaven may be the most aptly named culinary creation since Crazy Fish. And the staff? Delightful! From Eddie, the grill virtuoso who hand-seasons each sandwich and inspires me to be a better person, to the auxilliary register lady who greets each customer with a smile and a reminder of a free soda with each special ordered, to the woman up front who remembers that I like pickles, it's an all-star assembly of lunch specialists. When I grow up, I want to be a J2 Deli.
