    Authentic chinese

First I must say, if you are looking for Americanized fast food style Chinese, this is not the place. This is the place for real authentic make the sauce with the dish and not use pre made canned sauces. They honor "no msg" as long as you specify, they have been graded A twice by the health, sanitation dept...I love this place. Salmon teriyaki is moist, spare ribs are out of this world!!! Great herbal tea selection too.

    We've Had Better

After a difficult order was negotiated VIA phone, the food arrived at a normal time. Chicken Chow Mein was almost gelatinous and just not pleasing to look at. Sushi was average. Miso soup was saltier than usual. Dumplings were in a thin white layer that was a bit mushy. Definitely average to below average... Would not try this again.

    Not recommended

Pretty terrible food all around. Bad chicken, bad shrimp, bad pork.

    Disappointed

Food was not good at all; mediocre if anything. Ordered Peking style pork chops. Pork was extremely dry and over fried as well as poor in quantity for the value. Another dishes we ordered was the tomato with beef and tofu which had bits of chewy meat in it; definitely not my definition of good eats. The only salvageable thing about the restaurant was the service, the waitress was really nice and attentive. If you want authentic Chinese food.. go to Chinatown.

    Greatest Chinese food in NYC!!

The food was great!!! You gotta try the best and freshest tasting sashimi on the UWS---great serving size for the price. The bubble tea was Fab!! My favorite is the Taro tea. The Pepper Prawns and Hunan Lamb is really authentic. You gotta know Real Chinese food to like this place. If you only know Chinese food as those fast take out joints that sell fried chicken with fries then you are not in the right place. Really enjoyed their honey bannana too. Strongly recommend this place!
