not fuh nothin -best pizza parlor in brooklyn
I have lived in greenpoint Brooklyn my whole life, traveled the world and had pizza in chi-town and LA and NO one compares. From the godfather painting on the wall to the condiments on the counter- its the one place in gpoint that still tastes like my childhood days of grabbing a slice and a papercup of coke after a half day at St. Anthony's. All you hipsters are TRIPPIN. This place is the guwno!

Out Of This World Pizza!
ZAGAT WERE ARE YOU !!! the best pizza in NEW YORK !! the sauce on the square is the best I have ever tasted in all N.Y.C. I think the reg slices would rock if they would put more sauce on it over all not bad .if you go in around 12:00 you ll see the most amazing pizzas, the counter is full of art work every pizza seems to have a different sauce. veggi, taco, fresh mozz, .the best marinara slice I ever had, with fresh garlic and onion and I love the grandma slice very well made .

hit or miss
After eating there for many years off and on I find the food is hit or miss. It depends on when you are there if the food is good or not. It seems that the hot plates and hero's are better on weekday nights. Pizza is better mid afternoon as the early stuff comes out of the fridge from the night before. The prices seem to change from the posted prices without an explaination.

Hands Down Best Pizza In Greenpoint
I literally can't believe that I'm the first to review this place. I've lived in Greenpoint for four years and have had slices from all the other top neighborhood places. Italy Pizza isn't even in the same category. This is a serious contender for best pizza in Brooklyn. It all starts with the crust and I'd put the crust at Italy as on par with the best anywhere. Then you move on to their ingredients which are meticulously, some would say scientifically, and gratuitously piled on. The service is swift and professional and the ambiance is... Brooklyn pizzeria. Great historical map of Greenpoint on the wall, though for you history buffs.
