Go ahead. Try anything on the menu. From the antipast, to the broccoli rabe, to the philly cheese, to the french fries, to the salami and ham sanguine, to the rollatini with salad, to the Chicken "oofa" Parmesan with ziti. The entire menu is delicious....Id go so far as to say...."Mint"

im an upper eastside doorman and when i get hungry working the overnight shift calling italian village is no problem for me. either its a tasty chicken parm hero or a nice chicken slice either of the two will fulfill my hunger.

I have been going here for over 30 yrs. I now live in Jersey and whenever I stop back in the city I make sure to come here. Best sauce / pizza / salads. Prices are very reasonable. Can"t go wrong here...trust me! And they have the old fashion Geno's Italian Ices...

I've been a customer for 20 years. Pasta is old school delicious. Best value in Upper East Side. Give it a try you'll be glad.

Excellent value for a really delicious Italian meal in the neighborhood. Unassuming, earthy and pleasant back dining room. Worth a visit!

First time we ordered we got pizza, a little disappointed that there was no pineapple. It was great, the pie was gone in seconds. Next time we ordered stuffed clams, manicotti, and stuffed shells. The marinara sauce they used was extremely salted. We think they used the same sauce for pizza and baked dishes. Good on pizza not good with the manicotti. Stuffed clams were way to oily. But I wasn't expecting much. I haven't found a good stuffed clam in this city yet. Overall I keep ordering pizza. :)
