Not recommended
Had dinner at this place. The reviews were very good so figured will try it out. The food was very low quality. It was empty in the back, we now understand why. Will never go back.

Simply the best
I have to laugh at the few morons who find any fault with the place. They're the ones who will tell you, "The landing on the Moon wasn't that great -- the TV was black and white and the picture was fuzzy." This is a New York "street pizza" joint, and it does what it does perfectly. Where else does the counter guy sprinkle a little extra mozzarella on your slice before sticking it in the oven to heat? Where else do you get so much eggplant (or meatball, or pepperoni) on your slice? The dishes are all outstanding too, the service is raucous because the place is so popular, and the reason it's been around for almost 42 years is -- everyone in the neighborhood knows just how good it is. Even the extra cheese you can sprinkle on your slice is authentic!

Just plain great!
I always order from this place. Discovered it ten years ago when I was walking past it and went in for a mushroom slice...hooked! It's open late every night and delivery is fast and efficient! Order is always correct and over the last ten years everything I've ordered off the menu is delicious! It's my go to spot for delivery!

Great Italian Food On Upper Eastside
Great family place for eggplant parmigiana. Also, excellent salads, superior meat balls and fantastic Ziti.

Delivery food quality not so great
Quality of delivery service orders has declined over the past few months. Ordered eggplant rolatine tonight for example, and it arrived very cold. Disappointing from an old favorite.

Best Italian delivery on the UES by far
This place is consistently good. Have your delivery info in their system so no hassle on the phone. Food is excellent. Best veal Parm hero on ues hands down. Pasta is good and pizza is great. Highly highly recommended. I've tried literally every italian delivery place up here and they blow them all away

A Must!
My husband and I live in the neighborhood and have been eating here for so many years we can't even count. Pizza is outstanding but even better is eating in the back room. Portions are so large that we can split our meals. The staff has been working there for years. They are the best. Once you try it, you'll be a regular just like the rest of us.
