The pizza here is really something, thin crust with superb cheese and a garlicky sauce that works. Everybody I've ever talked to loves it. If you're familiar with Mariella Pizza in Columbus Circle (the pizzeria chosen by Oprah Winfrey's show as "New York's best"), the pizza here is coincidentally indistinguishable from the pizza there. No one from the staff at either place ever ate at the other one, it's a coincidence, but it's a happy one for people in both neighborhoods. And no other pizza in the city tastes remotely like either one; I've talked about this at Mariella's and one of the other customers piped up, "Oh yeah, you must mean that place up on Nagle!" at which point the proprietor of Mariella's shook his head in amazement. Also, the staff at Italian Pizza is friendly as could be, and they deliver fast. I love the place, eat there constantly, and hope they never close since they're right around the corner from me.

Pizza on a par with any of New York's celebrated pizzerias, and much better value. Always friendly. People should visit Washington Heights-Inwood for many reasons, and Italian Pizza is one of them!

It is the only place to order pizza if you live above 181st. Their pizza is what I think of when I think of what New York pizza should taste like. It is very affordable, and absolutely delicious!

This is definitely one of the best pizzerias in the neighborhood. Much better than the previous management with delicious food and friendly service. No need to order from the pizzeria chains. The sauce on their pizza is delicious and the stuffed shells are one of my husband's favorites.
