Had dinner here. The S.O. ordered a basic vegetarian dish. I opted for the black noodle. We kept it simple. The food turned out to be just really greasy Chinese food masquerading as Thai. Each of us had a nasty pool of oil at the bottom of the dish. My black noodle was devoid of any worthwhile flavor; it tasted like cooking oil. The veggie dish was a full-blown onion-fest. Onions are great, don’t get me wrong, but when ½ the dish is onions, they overwhelm everything else. To top it off, the waitress presented us with a bill that included an 18% service charge for rather inattentive service. I questioned it because we were 2, not the 5 or 6 people that the menu indicated would trigger an automatic service charge. The waitress ultimately removed the 18% service and told me that they put it on there “for the tourists.” First, we are 100% local. Second, that is discrimination. Boo to Isle!

I am australian and am used to high quality Thai food as a regular takeout option - I cant seem to find good Thai in NYC. I am trying many restaurants and consider Isle to be one of the better I have tried so far. I usually order drunken man noodle. The produce is fresh and well portioned but the food lacks spice.

went here the other night with four of my friends. warning: keep an eye out for service charge - we were only a party of 5 but they still charged us... food was good, nice and spicy! red curry really spicy. we all had shrimp dishes and the shrimp were fresh and tasty. i'll be back.

i like there stuff only cause it arrives fast. the only thing i actually like is there isle fried rice. try it. it is kinda overpriced but i think it tastes great!

I've been ordering from Isle about once a week for lunch for over a year now and they're great! Fast delivery always, good portion size and great value. Service is a bit slow when you actually eat there, especially during non-peak hours (like when the staff is having lunch themselves). Atmosphere is nice ~

The food here is okay, merely acceptable, but what makes it worth avoiding is the people that work there.

Service was amateurish, inattentive. Took forever to take order in empty place, never checked to see how things were, took forever to get bill. Didn't bring drinks/refills without persistent reminders. Food was ok, Decor wallpaper matched menus.
