    Best Restaurant In The Neighborhood

The food is prepared with love and they will prepare anything you want and it always delicious, tasty and fresh. The owners and staff are friendly, warm and attentive. There is no attitude at the restaurant. I have also made a few parties in the private room downstairs and everybody thought it was fabulous. Enjoy!

    The Best Food In Town

This is one of my families favorite restaurant we have been eating at this place for over ten years now and never had a bad meal. The food is excellent everything taste fresh and homemade, the portions are very big. The service also is excellent the staff is very friendly. They give you homemade cheese and olives when you sit to start with delicious hot breads and at the end of the meal offer your dessert drink with delicious Italian cookies. I would recommend the Dover Sole or the Pasta Dishes, they have many different specials every night which are always good. This is just excellent restaurant all around, a must try

    One of my favorites

I was at the Isle of Capri 8 years ago with my son. We just happened upon it while visiting NY and staying in the neighborhood. We loved it. I made a point of finding it again while on vacation this past June. I took my boyfriend and he still raves about it. The food was fabulous and the wine suggested by the waiter was wonderful.

My favorite place on the UES

We lived nearby and frequented the Isle of Capri often. The food was the closest to real Italian cooking I've had in NY. Absolutely the best beef or chicken bracciola and pasta agli olio. Wait staff somewhat spotty at times, but the owner very gracious. Unfortunately, I have to convince my wife to go more frequently than she would like. Good value for your money.

Okay after a visit to Bloomingdale's

Due to close proximity to Bloomingdale's this is a good spot for lunch or dinner after shopping. Just make sure you try to get a table near a window otherwise if you are in the tiny main dining room it can be chaotic with waiters zipping through, people waiting for a table, people waiting for their coats etc. Make sure if you take a special of the day that you ask what the price of it is. Most things on the menu were reasonably priced so we were a little shocked by a $45.00 price tag for their special - Dover sole. It was good but not worth $45.00. Have been here many times but we find the service inconsistent. I never did get a glass of wine I ordered.

    A friendly, caring family place

Great veal piccatta. I was dining with a lady who was not up to high spirits. The young lady who owns the place was a friend of hers. The owner showed a lot of compassion for my friend, which I found went, happily, beyond the necessary caring limits....Congrats...that sympathy came in handy. The meal was excellent and I'll always return for one more try until I've scoured the menu in its entirety.

    Fine Service; just-above average food

The staff was attentive and efficient; the decor and atmosphere very pleasing. The food; however, was of just a little above average quality, and so as a result, a bit overpriced. The gratuitous cookies that came with the coffee were a nice touch.
