If you can find it, it's well worth it
At the recommendation of menupages.com I tried this place. I must say BEST BURGER EVER. They cooked it the way I liked and with so many options I can go back once a week and never get tired of it. Highly Highly recommended.

It's a bit crowded..but great burgers
We went to Island Burgers last night. It was good. I ordered my burger medium and it was pretty rare for my liking. My fiance on the other hand, ordered his rare and it was more cooked than mine! I ordered the Mona Lisa..and it was amazing! Definitely miss the fries though. But the burgers, they live up to expectation!

Awesome burgers, but watch...
how they're cooked. I was shocked to read earlier reviews that mentioned their burgers getting overcooked - they must've taken note and overcompensated, because every time i've gone my order has been pretty UNDERcooked. Still, the burgers are big, juicy, and lean and there's incredible variety. Wish they had fries (can't understand some people's glee over potato chips?), but the burgers are worth the trip. Mr. Biggs is a very close 2nd for burgers in the neighborhood.

Best Burger in the city
I have been living in NYC for 8 years, and this place has the best burgers. You won't miss the fries. Top quality meat and more than enough toppings (cheeses, sauces, etc). The Cabo San Lucas salad is also excellent if you are watching carbs. Seating is limited but well worth the wait.

The shakes and burgers are soooo good. If the service was better, I'd be hooked for life. Fries would be nice.

Go right now, do not delay!
I was just in NYC and had read about this being one of the best burgers in town. I concur! It is indeed the best burger I have ever had. I had the Mona Lisa and it was so good! I didn't know before hand about the fries but you don't even miss it. Next visit to NYC will definitely include another trip to the Island.
