My husband and I have eaten at lots of sushi restaurants in Brooklyn and Iron Chef remains our favorite. The food is great and it offers some different creative roll selections. It is always full, but you can make a reservation.

eeeek!!! this restaurant is DA BOMB! you should certainly get the ichiban for a relatively neutral roll, the monkey roll for some fun, the banzai roll for a good time, and um every other roll on the menu. the sapporo roll is pretty darn good too. youll LOVE this place. the service is great, the people are friendly. i go here as often as possible. its just GREAT!!

No doubt, Iron Chef is on the expensive side. It's not outrageous but not cheap. But ordering from this restaurant is one of life's little pleasures. The sushi is always fresh, the rolls are creative and interesting, and they deliver extremely quickly. HIGHLY recommended!

We order from Iron Chef at least once a week. Their sushi is by far the freshest and most artfully presented in Brooklyn. They deliver in 15 minutes to our DUMBO apartment (which is not too close to the restaurant!). Best value for what you get as opposed to higher-priced trendy places similar to Sushi Samba in Manhattan. Restaurant itself is very tiny, but very cute. Their house rolls are the best. Try them all!

My family and I love going out for Japanese food and have tried a ton of the New York restaurants. However, all of us strongly believe that the small, unpretentious, neighborhood Iron Chef House is the best Japanese restaurant in New York! Everything on the menu excellent, including more unexpected items like the salads, fish entrees, and noodle dishes. Their specialty sushi rolls are delicious, and they also have some of the best presentation I've seen. The staff is incredibly friendly and will make things to order. The only drawback is that the space is quite small (snug?), and especially with Iron Chef's growing popularity (it's been around for a few years now), there's a long wait without a reservation during peak weekend hours. Highly recommended!

I picked this one out of a hat. It's in a beautiful neighborhood with decent decor. We got out of our comfort zone and ordered two entree with 6 or 7 special rolls. Highly recommend their 2005 Roll. Under $30 w/out drinks. My friends and I are already planning to go back.
