Menu tip
The "Never Know" Rice bowl in the "sides" section of the menu is amazing. I ordered it because the people next to me had ordered it and it looked so wonderful, I couldn't help asking what it was. It is basically sushi fish, vegetables, rice, and other delicious tidbits stirred and chopped together in a light spicy/sweet sauce. I will be back for it again soon...

Decent atmosphere; unappetizing sushi
Atmosphere is fine. Some basic Japanese items adorn the walls. Service was OK, not great. I had the sushi platter, which included a couple rolls an a variety of fish. The fish did not seem fresh. The taste was blah, and the texture was plastic-like. I suspect it was from the weekend. That was a big disappointment in light of the reviews of this place. The rolls were tight, but not very plump, so, even if the fish were fresh, there wasnt much there. I would not return.

Great sushi in BK Heights
Everything is very high quality and the menu features some creative options. The waiters generally make good recommendations. I always enjoy my meal here.

Ambient sushi
A cheap, reasonable sushi restaurant in Brooklyn Heights. Fare is fine if unspectacular. Ambient music may be a little over-done; visit only if a fan of repeated Enya tracks. Staff are generally OK although over-eager to whisk plates away and get rid of patrons when closing approaches.

Best Sushi in The Heights !
Cannot get enough of this excellent sushi spot and it's Chef and staff. I have had all my friends and family eat here and everyone has loved it even the non-sushi eaters. Please keep doing what you love and we will keep coming. Thank you !

a rave review
a tiny boite of a place that has a wonderful theatrical atmosphere about it. the chefs at the far end of the place are on a raised "stage" with spotlights directed at them and are all in white including the tall chef hats--very dramatic. the wait staff couldn't be friendlier or more accomodating. they behave as if their livelihood depended on making you happy. what a nove idea! wouldn't it be nice if other places, say noodle pudding a few blocks away, would consider that tack. oh yes, the food. extremely well prepared and delicious. there is a sense of occasion dining at this gem of a restaurant. this is a rave review.
