    Service

I think we can all agree that this places thrives on the pork buns. The ramen are nothing out of ordinary and u should surely share a portion. The service is extremely bad. To a point where it's just downright rude. I guess they think they get away with it since the food is good but it's not hard to copy with better service and they'd go down. U get treated better at Mcdonalds

    best ramen outside of japan

This place is the best ramen outside of Japan that I can afford, and luckily I like pork, seemed to be the star of the menu. It was worth the wait and the price.

    Best. Ramen. Ever.

I've been eating here for years and it never disappoints. And it's not THAT expensive.

    Well worth the wait!

After waiting over 2 hours to be seated, I am happy to say that my meal was absolutely delicious and well worth the wait. I will be returning soon!!

    Tasty but noisy

I am not a Ramen expert, but this is the best I've had anywhere. Same goes for the pork buns. But the place is noisy as hell! (Did you hear me?) The servers yell their greetings for every customer entering or leaving the place - and the turnover is high. If you're sitting around a large table you can't hear your company from across. Perhaps it's a strategy to prevent people from lingering, but it makes it overall an unpleasant experience and hard to enjoy the food.

    Good ramen but pricey

The ramen and broth was good but serving size is paltry considering the price ($15). I had the Hakata classic and the noodles were on the thin side. I prefer them thicker. The samurai short ribs were excellent. Atmosphere has energy and young vibe to it. Went on a Monday before 530pm and had a 20 minute wait. Definitely would not wait 1.5-2 hrs to eat here. It's good but was expecting much more given the rave reviews.

    Not a fair deal

Went for lunch the other day. The prices have skyrocketed. The basic bowl is $14; you receive a paltry amount of noodles, two of the thinest pieces of sliced pork this side of the afterlife, a few scallions and a bit of ginger. The broth needed to be much hotter. The trick here is getting the diner to buy up. Extra for more pork, extra for more scallions or an egg, etc. With tax and tip, a bowl of "plain" ramen was over $18. The place was packed with 20 somethings by 1pm. Service was good. Too bad I won't be back.
