Overpriced and mediocre for all the hype and the crowds.

Terrible experience from the waitstaff giving inaccurate wait times (on the phone - no wait and immediately arriving in person 20-30 minutes), to terribly over-priced food. $8 for half a cucumber? $8 for 10 shisho peppers? Diners experienced the veggie ramen being no more than 10 noodles and two spoonfuls of broth, fatty untrimmed chicken buns, and the modern ramen's noodles inedible and hard. The luckiest diner's food was forcibly removed from him and pulled out of his party's hands while eating it, even though what he ordered and received, was what he wanted, but viewed to be the IMPROPER way to eat the ramen (extra dashi paste on the side). The manager was not helpful and argumentative. NEVER AGAIN.

The ramen here is very good, but at $14 for soup ($17 if you want more meat than the standard 3 pieces), it's extremely poor value. Come on, it's a bowl of soup! And the menu doesn't offer much else.

I am obsessed with ramen and this is one of the places on top of my list. Ippudo and Momofuku. The broth of the classic ramen is complex and rich. The IPA is a wonderful counter point. Oh, if only they delivered!
