after having spent a year in Florence, and becoming a very picky Italian foodie, 'ino is truly a rare find. I actually forget I was in America and thought I was in Italy (excpet for the English) sure, it was loud and a little tight, but it was the real Italian feel. The paninis are a amazing..crunchy, fresh bread..and hot, fresh ingredients on the inside. Try the quattro panini..you get four mini-sized panini-it's great if you can't pick just one-which you will not be able to! the sandwiches might sound strange-but jsut ask the waiters and they know every ingredient-they're not strange-they're authentic! even in new york, of all the italian restaurants i've been to, this place is the real italiano deal. it's worth the wait (even outside in the cold!)-you just might not want to go with more than 2 people.

I always love this place. One of my favorite places in the city! The truffled egg dish is my favorite! all of the paninis are fabulous!!!

don't go with more than 2 ppl. it's a very very tight squeeze. the brushettas are great! i've tried almost all of them and they're all fantastic. waiters go out of their way to accomadate patrons. panini's are the best i've tasted for that price range. brunch is great. haven't tried the wine bar yet, but the italian panini sausage is amazing.

I have to echo the sentiments of earlier reviews here for 'ino. I work around the corner and I always recommend this place to people looking for a nice way to wind down (or get started ) an evening. It's a good date place.. It's small, so I wouldn't recommend it for larger groups. A party of four might have a fairly long wait on a busy night. Have to say that the wine is not overally expensive. I enjoyed a great bottle of shiraz here for $19 last week. That's ridiculously cheap---especially for the West Village.

Brunch at 'ino is one of the few things that gets me out of bed on a Saturday. The food is so so good and the staff is lovely. The bruchetta with ricotta may be the best thing I have ever tasted!

'Ino is actually much better than 'Inoteca, and less expensive! Don't be fooled by "paninis" - it is not like cafeteria food. There is a warm, italian wine bar feeling inside. The dishes are great for sharing. If anyone likes trying lots of little things like me, the quattro panini is perfect! Great place to go for a nice midweek meal where you don't feel like spending tons of money!

The best Panini I have ever had in my life. This place is worth the trip and its also a great date place. The food prices are reasonable but beware of the wine list. The wine list is huge but the prices are very high. Also, the bartender was the best but the host was terrible. He tries to keep track in his head instead of writing down who is waiting on a list. It didn't quite work out, but as I said the bartender makes up for it.
