abysmal service
Service leaves a lot to be desired, staff have sneery uncomfortable making attitude. Just had lunch sitting at the bar, food was good but had to listen to the waitress bad-mouth customers to the bartender throughout. Felt as if i was getting in the way of their work space and couldn't wait to get out.

Great food but subpar service
I love this place and go here all the time but beware that the service can be subpar. Went there last night and the waiter just about had a fit when I didn't take him up on his wine suggestion ($15 more for his choice) When I said we'll go w/ my original wine choice he literally made a scene and my friend and I didn't know what to do. He then ignored us and/or acted uncomfortble around us the rest of the night. What is with service in this city lately?

A treat
Mmmmmm! The truffled-egg toast is absolutely to die for! Although the dish itself it's too expensive, it is tiny and you will definitely still be hungry. If so, try one of their fabulous paninis. The service left a bit to be desired--they forgot about one of the orders at the table and we waited at least an extra half hour to be served because if it, while watching one, two, even three tables seated after us being served before us; and they didn't even have the decency to tell us what the hold up was--I had to ask. If you go in the winter, try to avoid sitting by the door; the place is tiny and you will really feel the draft there. Despite all this, I still recommend eating at 'ino because it is just that good. They were probably just having and off day from the sound of the other reviews...

out of this world
I came to ino a few years ago with my older sister and try to go everytime I go into the city. It is hard to get my friends or boyfriend to agree to eat dinner out at a place that is known for having only bruchettas and paninis, however once I talked them into going they all fell in love just as I did. The candle lit tables and amazing wines set the perfect romantic mood for my boyfriend and I, yet ino is casual enough for a quick bite with a friend. Don't be fooled, even though you are ordering bruchetta or paninis you will have enough to eat. I like to order maybe 3 bruchettas ($2 ea.), and the quatro panini ($9.50) (you get to chose 4 of their delicious paninis) You can satisfy your hunger without feeling like you need to be carried out of the place. Ino also has an amazing bunch with different fruit bellinis and an OUT OF THIS WORLD truffled egg toast. Ino is small so it is almost guarenteed that you will have to wait for a table...but whether you have to wait 15 minutes or 2 hours it is deffintly more than worth the wait and value. If you don't want to try ino thats fine...less of a wait for me!

Cozy, winebar gem
Love Ino - a great place to go with a date or very small group to enjoy the awesome small bites and creative brushettas...it's nice to be able to order as you feel hungry. The music is always awesome too!

Great for lunch
I went to 'ino for the first time with a friend...we got lucky there was no wait and we got seated immediately. its really warm and cozy..very intimate space. the truffled egg toast is really really good..and the paninis were excellent as well. we both ordered the half with soup or salad. the half panini with soup is much more filling because they give u a full-size bowl of their bean soup which is really good as well. the salad is limp and paltry in portion and uninspired. the food isnt too filling, but its good if you are looking for great quality food and a good atmosphere.
