i always felt that the one of the most important quantifiers for a quality indian restaurant is its bread, and this place might as well serve wonder bread. what a shame, the rest of the quantifiers are definitely a step above most neighborhood indian restaurants - as are the prices. overall, it's worth a try.

DO IT!!! Erm. Yes, great food, surprisingly fresh, clear flavors. I'm not used to having my rice spooned out for me, but I am unfortunately used to touching shoulders with the guy at the table next to me. Give me spaaace! But, really, give me vindaloo.

A chance dining experience at Indus Valley yielded the following: the most fiery and flavorful lamb vindaloo I've had (Manhattan and Jackson Heights included), a gorgeous shrimp curry, and my companion's wonderfully seasoned lamb. That was last weekend. This weekend we're returning to confirm that this is our new favorite indian restaurant.

Just about the best Indian food I've had, it leaves all the friendly neighborhood Indian restaurants in the dust.

Its a new upscale restaurant. Food servings are pretty big and good. Already been there three times for dinner and lunch. Worth trying if you like good Indian food.
