    What a let down -

I have been ordering from Indus for 7 years and the quality has plummeted - what a shame - just had a spinach curry, and it was cooked meat added to the sauce - this is NOT how you cook a curry. You need to cook the meat in the spices. Will not order again until they hire a real indian chef. A

Those arn't Kati Rolls but Wraps

Those arn't Kati Rolls they serve there, only Wraps. Just ordered their Kati Roll expecting something with fresh vegies, fresh flat bread and indian spices. Ended up with Wrap with some okay tasting food which tasted more like Mexican. Not really so great.

    Raised the prices

Now it's over 10 bucks for the lunch special. Too much in today's economy for what should be cheap eats. It is not gourmet, $1o a plate is too much.

    Unpleasant lunch experience!

Food is good. But the lady at the samosa counter is extremely rude and offers unprofessional service. Doesn't make a great samosa chat either. Wouldn't recommend this place just for that.

    Quality and quantity!

I am, like most Indians, picky about Indian food. I think the food from Indus Express gives delicious Indian food and offer excellent value--lots of food for the money and the quality is very good. My bhelpuri took me 'back home' with the tart, tangy sweet sauce with just enough heat and the crunch of the sev balanced by the potatoes and mangoes. It was a wonderful weekend treat. Don't miss the tandoori chicken and the Kashmiri Nan are also great offerings. Thank you Indus Express!

    Ruined my lunch time experience

I liked the potatoes...'bout it. And Lord knows I never thought I'd give out a 1-star rating. I was so excited to use my 8coupon deal that I took extra lunch time from work to hike over and try this place. Reason being I've been hooked since the first time I was made the most amazing Indian food by Indian friends. Ever since I've snagged it anywhere I can in America & while abroad. But I'm not unreasonable; I never expect true Indian spice in American restaurants. But I do expect a good flavor, which Indus Express is sorely lacking. I ordered a Chicken Tikki Dosa & a Masala (Veggie) Dosa. They each came with coconut chutney, sambar, and Indian hot sauce. The chicken was aight...but flavorless. The dosa bread had an unpleasant smell. Masala? I guess potatoes and onions are veggies...but I was expecting a bit more variety. And both dosas had more bread than filling. The hot sauce saved the filling I emptied out into the container...but I could taste a substantial amount of granulated sugar! The coconut chutney smelled and tasted abysmal. The sambar had flavor...but it was so salty you could barely taste anything else. And while I didn't order it, I saw them put pre-made fried chaat in the microwave to heat it up! More than half of my meal wound up in the trash. I had originally planned to go back in a few weeks to take advantage of their $5 Friday Roti Special...but no way. But, to end on a decent note, the guy who took my order was nice and accommodating...even if the guy who prepared my food and slammed it down on the counter was the polar opposite. This place ruined my lunch time experience.

    I loved it!!

I had food delivered to my hotel while I spend a few days working in NY. The chicken tikka masala was creamy and delicious, and the palak paneer was fantastic! The kheer was also wonderful. This place got a few mixed or even bad reviews. Not sure why. Maybe it's just b/c I don't live in New York, but I have had both good and bad Indian foods in other cities and this rated in the tops for me.
