Great overall experience
Just had a very large party at the restaurant recently - and they were very accommodating with great service and food offerings. All of our guests thought the food was great tne the restaurant was nicely laid out and decorated.

Best Indian Food in Manhattan
The food is delicious and the service outstanding. Order the Chicken Madras. You won’t find it on the menu, but it is delicious.

Excellent Indian
After eating in midtown all week, it was a delight to walk a few blocks to a smaller restaurant and have good Indian food. I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo and asked for it to be very hot. They delivered. I also had the Dal Makini (only good) and the Naan (excellent).

Great Food, Great Service, Great Atmosphere
I frequent this restaurant regularly and I can easily say it is one of my favorites. I highly recommend any of their dishes and breads (The Roti, whole wheat is my favorite) of which I'm sure you will not to be disappointed. I think they have the best shrimp, chicken and lamb dished in New York City. I generally eat the Grilled shrimp, Lamb Vindaloo (not on the menu, but they can make it for you if you) and the Tandoori Chicken. The food is light, flavorful and expertly prepared. The bread together with any meal along with the Basmati rice, makes this dining experience unique and different from other mainstream restaurants in the area. The staff is polite, knowledgably and very capable of making excellent recommendations if you are not familiar with East Indian style of food. Their attentive service never never needs that you ask for anything you may additionally want, your glasses will be refilled, and more rice is always available. Their luncheon buffets is one of the best secrets in NYC. All you can eat for approximately the same price as fast food restaurants, and the quality is unparalleled. I've seen prominent New Yorkers from entertainment to Finance eat at Indigo, give Indigo a try and see if you agree!

Great Indian lunch buffet
I just found this place and wish I had tried it sooner! I went for the lunch buffet which is a great deal. I really enjoyed the tandoori chicken and the curry chicken dish.
