I went to Indian Taj with a group of friends this weekend and it was DELICIOUS! The food was authentic Indian, the best in the West Village. The lamb rojan josh was fabulous and the aloo paratha was also amazing. I highly recommend this place. It's worth it and the wait staff are excellent...the best Indian food I've had in the city!

It's not the best Indian food I had but its not disappointing. The service was okay until we said we were too full for dessert. Make sure you look over the check because they included 18% tip on our check. Don't think I would go back there again.

No flavor, bland.. do not recommend this place. I got the chicken tikka masala and meat somosa... disappointing!

Having ordered from here a couple times a month for a good while, I've never once got something bad. I prefer the vegetarian dishes (tho I eat meat too). Delivery quick, prices reasonable for quality. For me, it's as good as the E Village Indian food collection, and my favorite in the hood.

I have eaten here a twice, once with as a couple and once with a party of 12, both times service, food and atmosphere are excellent. If you are in the area and want technically good food at a very good price with slightly over attentive staff then this is the place to eat.

very flavorful and delicious! Taste of "homemade" type sauces. I have only had delivery so I can't really rate the in restaurant service but ordering over the phone is a breeze. The portions are very large so it is enough to save some for lunch the next day. I only order from taj and think that it is as good as you can expect from delivery Indian.

I've only had delivery and have been very happy with the delicious food. Yum. Piping hot and spicy.
