Lamb Vindaloo
The food was really poor and over priced. I was charged $23 for one order of Lamb Vindaloo and 1 bread

Unexceptional
Ordered in this evening from Taj, first time, and was very unimpressed. The portions were very small, the meat and seafood were overdone and drowning in their respective overly spiced sauces. No nuance to the food. Not the worst, but certainly not great. My 11 yr old daughter liked the chicken tikka in spite of it all.

Vindaloo Very Special
Never had Vindaloo better than this anywhere. Who knew that vindaloo means with vinegar & garlic. Not just spicey but full of spices. ***** anytime. Excellent service. No bar yet, who cares, got my Vindaloo craving filled

Sooooo good!
This place never fails to deliver the best quality Indian food around (possibly in NYC)! Everything you'd expect from every dish and more. The breads are just perfect! This is not just another Indian - it's a must try!

Late Night Date
After seeing a movie, I decided to take a date to this restaurant because another choice was closed at the time. Looking back, it was a blessing in disguise that I didn't go to the other restaurant. Upon enterting Taj Tribeca, I was impressed with the ambiance and service. I was greeted at the door by a host and quickly seated. Granted, the restaurant wasn't full, but I'd like to think the service would be similar even if it were a full house. The restaurant is nice and clean with white table clothes and exposed brick. The mood lighting and candles are a nice touch. Now for the food. The waiters are quick to provide wafers and a variety of sauces. The menu is robust and organized with a variety of mostly traditional Indian fare. Although I did have crab cakes. The wait staff is pretty knowledgable about the menu and they are open to making suggestions. The food was good. Pretty much on par with most top-tier Indian restaurants I've eaten at. One thing I really appreciated about the restaurant was that they weren't in a rush to kick us out of the restaurant towards the end of the night. When it was absolutely time for us to leave, they simply dimmed the lights, clearly sending the message. I really appreciated that gesture. I was having a great conversation and didn't want to ruin it. If you're looking for a great restaurant with an upscale and intimate setting Taj Tribeca is for you. But don't take my word for it, give it a try!

Saffron Chicken
I was recently in Downtown NY for business and my friends and i were craving Indian food and decided to have it at Taj Tribeca . I had ordered the Saffron Chicken Tikka and i have to say - it was by far the best Indian Chicken dish i have had. i would recommend that anyone who hasn't tried their Chicken is missing out. My over all experience at the restaurant was excellent and would recommend to any and everyone. The restaurant has a warm feel to it and is inviting something that maybe lacked at larger Restaurants.

Do not every get delivery from here
The portions were ridiculously small and way over priced. For what they gave and charged me, it should have been magical. Not even close.
