This is the best Indian cuisine place in all of the upper westside and easily ranking in the top 10 of similar places in Little India in Queens and Rose Hill in NYC. The atmosphere is quite nice, the hospitality friendly and sincere. The food and variety is always great. Highly recommend, with lots of friends or just one other.

Mr. Sharma and his staff make the Indian Cafe a home away from home for so many. The bar scene is intelligent, friendly, hassle-free and international in flavor. The drinks are strong and well made. You can eat at the bar, too. I love the freshly made tandoori chicken. They will season food more strongly with heat if you ask. Great home away from home.

Poor service and pricey. I ordered lunch for take out. They charged me dinner prices which is $3 above lunch menu prices. When I raised the issue to the guy, he was extremely defensive and rude. I will never go this place again.

As someone who has previously worked in the restaurant industry for 7 years, I have expectations and a level of empathy for servers. Never before have I ever been treated with such low respect in a restaurant. Upon arrival at 11 our party of 3 sat and did not get greeted until 11:15, which consisted of 'what would you like,' not even a hello, and then the statement that 'we close at 12.' Receiving our food at 11:30, we ate at a normal pace. At 11:45 our server questioned if we were finished (there was still food on all our plates) and PUT ON HER JACKET handing us the bill saying we had to pay while there were still two other parties in the restaurant, one of which was a large party of 8. Although the food was good, I will never go back due to the bad taste that the lack of customer service left me.

Saag and lentils are the best dishes. It is the best Indian in the 'hood. Prices have gone up but they have to make a living too. Still affordable and food is really hot.

Its definitely not the best Indian restaurant in town, but the food is passable and they have amazingly quick delivery! I generally order from them when Im tired and hungry and want a warm meal: the food gets delivered to my apartment within 15-20mins.
