We ate here on MLK day and had a fantastic grandma pizza with black olives - perfectly cooked. We also had some very fresh and inventive salads (tre colore and the mixed veg one), a great risotto, and eggplant parm. The lemon curd dessert is different and delicious. What a terrific addition to the neighborhood - hooray Jason!

I love Italian cuisine and my boyfriend and I go to Italy every year just to eat and try all the great restaurants. This one, even if not really authentic Italian, is topnotch. The menu has more than pizza (although that's what we order for delivery) and there's a lot of delicious sounding (and tasting) appetizers and entrees. The wine selections cover the whole spectrum and priced well and my oenophile boyfriend said the winelist list was thoughtful, whatever that means (just bring me that glass of Pinot Nero!)The only thing we don't like is the decor on half of the dining room and we prefer to sit in the open area with natural sunlight. The other part feels like a basement prison, with an abstract notion of wooden fences covering the windows. The servers are all young, they should hire more seasoned waitstaff. But it's a great restaurant for Battery Park, and we love dining at this place.

I have eaten here almost 4 times since they have opened. Homemade pasta, brick oven pizza- AMAZING. As a BPC resident, this is such a relief!
