    Tasty & Fun

The food was excellent. Everything was extremely fresh. The wait staff were all pleasant and friendly. Oh and you have GOT TO try the ice-cream desserts!!!! Out of this world ... mmmmmmm. Will go back JUST for the ice-cream :)

    Good Food, Great Service

Get over it, snobs! I agree that there are better restaurants in NYC where you can get the same food at a lower price, but the food here is still excellent. In fact, I had their sashimi, and it ranks up there with many top restaurants in manhattan. This restaurant is loud and serves great japanese food. It might be a bit too "pop" for some wanna be chic foodie, but the food's great, and I recommend going at least once. It's fun! And the food is great! Get over the whole "disney" factor, bring some loud friends, have tons of beer and grilled food, and enjoy the evening! My group of foodies had a blast!

    must visit

this place is a must visit if you like Japanese cuisine. the sushi is fresh unlike the refrigrated stuff from the deli's around this neighborhood. the staff is extremely friendly making you feel very welcome. once awhile you'll get a thank you in Japanese from the chef's if you say thank you to your waiter when the food is brought to you. it's a bit pricey but the atmosphere and service is worth it.
