Awesome!
We loved Inagiku!! The ambiance was so nice, the food was GREAT...we ordered 1 app, 2 "small plates", sushi rolls, and a tempura entree... all for less than the $48 prix fix they had. And we loved each thing we tried!!! Can't wait to go back and try again.

Dismal.
We went for restaurant week, and it was SO disappointing. The appetizers were a boring, bland tartare and a boring, bland shrimp cocktail-type deal. The entree was a few limp pieces of nigiri and a California roll. Not even a good California roll. Green tea ice cream for dessert.

blech
The food was definetly subpar. Do not come here for restaurant week. i had the ceviche and it tasted like spoiled cole slaw. the chef's sushi selection consisted of 4 pieces and a california roll all of which were not fresh and poorly presented. everyone at the table (4 people) was extremely disappointed with their meal.

Delicious!
I loved this place. I thought that they had great tempura, and I ended up getting the dinner where you can order and appetizer, soup, and main meal and I got the asparagus YUM, Salmon great, Miso always a must, and the tempura which was awesome, I liked it so much I went back there two nights later. Great place to dine.

Traditional and great
Inagiku is the best tempura in New York, the sushi is delicious and steak is great as well. The waitresses are so sweet you would feel as though you were really dining in Japan. Really one of the best traditional Japanese resteraunts in the city.

Dissapointing!
The waitress was rude. Whenever we asked for something to compliment our dishes (sauce/ wasabi), the waitress made face and mumbled something to her colleagues in my full view! - this happened a few times. The restaurant was pretty much empty with only 2 tables occupied! Perhaps, we just got a bad apple there. I will never go back there again. But, overall the food is good - we had fixed prix and selected tempura dinner and eel napoleon, presentation and taste are good. Atmosphere is quite depressing and uninteresting. This place does not live up to its reputation.
