    Good Stuff

Good Chinese food, fast delivery, hot & flavorful food, not greasy, reasonably priced. 2 thumbs up!

    good delivery

Ordered from here last night, the food came very fast (only 20 minutes) and was piping hot. I had shrimp lo mein and it was good. The lo mein was not oily and tasted good, the shrimps tasted a little bit like they were sitting around for awhile and they just heated them up. Over all this is a good place to order from if you don't have much time.

    Best option in Murray Hill

I've been working in Murray Hill for 8 years. After a long time going to Spades, Imperial Garden is the best option now for a chinese lunch special. They let you replace soup with soda, and also choose different sauces if needed. The food arrives hot, and not as greasy as other places. I order from here about once a week. Give it a try. I like the baby shrimp with mixed vegetables, but with black bean sauce.

    Much better alternatives in neighborhood

I decided to take a break from my norm to try out Imperial Garden. It was very disappointing. Delivery was slow, soup was tasteless and chicken and vegetables were mediocre at best. Given the # of chinese places in the area, my advice to order from somewhere else!

    Okay

The fried pork dumplings were way too fried. So deeply fried they were devoid of anything much but oil. The fried wonton was good, lightly pan fried, and good taste. Not amazing, but fine if you have a hangover. Scallion Pancakes were good fried like hell, but crispy and tasty. Pork Buns were good, the flavor was excellent on the inside, but the bun section was too much, and it wasn't cloudy like usually from other place, it was pasty. Seasame Wantons, steamed, were a little too oily with a little too much sauce, but the flavor was good. Lemon Chicken wasn't very good. They do give you a lot of food though. The sauce, served on the side by request, wasn't tangy enough, and the chicken wasn't crispy enough. . Not enough Soy sauce all round.

    It shames all others

I was told about this place by a coworker, and haven't been disappointed once. Eating in is not bad, it's a small place, but it's quick and efficient service. Anytime I order take-out it's usually ready within 10 minutes. I work near here but live in Brooklyn and am always disappointed to order from places there because they can't compare. Flavorful, fresh veggies and meats and I haven't ever had a bad dish. Their egg rolls are AWESOME (I only really like theirs). Hands down my fave chinese place in NYC!

    Good food

But definitely more a place for take out. Try the lunch specials - they are phenomenal.
