Friendly, efficient service. Delicious, freshly prepared food. Very reasonable prices. What more could you ask for ? The rolls were especially good, as was the tofu.

We tried Imi Sushi based on very positive (though very few) ratings. We ordered salmon teriyaki bento box, tuna roll, cucumber roll, gyoza. The tuna, cucumber and California rolls were all very good: Ingredients seemed fresh, seaweed wrap had good taste and texture. Better than many neighborhood places. Sadly, other dishes were mostly disappointing. Salmon itself was okay but teriyaki a little sweet; it was served on a bed of boring, overcooked, watery vegetables. Shumai would probably have been okay if not deep-fried (which was not indicated on the menu). Gyoza were the most tasteless I have ever eaten. The rice was mediocre - a step up from the neighborhood Chinese restaurants (Ozen excepted) but way below expectations for a Japanese restaurant. Salad and miso soup were adequate and salad was fresh. Delivery service was prompt and correct. Since I did not visit the restaurant, I rated atmosphere a neutral 3. I may well order sushi from here again but nothing else.

This little place is very appealing to the eye and serves wonderful food. I'm not a sushi person, so I've enjoyed their other dishes My sushi friends enjoyed their meals and praised the variety, quality and freshness. I go there almost once a week!

Best sushi north of 76th on the west side.

Well the prices have definitely gone up since this place changed hands (for the umpteenth time!), but it's still more affordable than Kouzan across the street. The sushi was very fresh and flavorful; the atmosphere and waitstaff nice enough. I'll definitely be going back for a sushi fix close to home.
