if you are looking for a quality meal near the flatiron building, ilili is a great choice. the food was amazing- servings were large and the quality was superb. i recommend the price fixe if they offer it- $35/person and you will satisfied and impressed.

The appetizers were delicious. Stick with those. I had the lamb ribs as my main course. They were at least half fat and absolutely floating in grease. I have a strong stomach and was trying to be polite to my host, so I ate a few bites. It was impossible to attract the waitress's attention. In her defense, the place was so loud that she probably couldn't hear me. I know I had trouble hearing my dinner companions, and they were right across the table. The best part of the restaurant was the cool unisex bathrooms. Each toilet is in a little room with its own sink.

after reading the mixed reviews and the restaurant week menu i had to try this place. i was not informed of the special valentine menu but i must say i was surprised. they were out of a couple of items and made up with it with extra appetizers. each wave brought to the table brought on a new taste for the pallet. the hoummos and babbaganoush were amazing. the chankleesh was presented in the shape of a tuna tartar and was amazing! moujedrah was out of this world. i must say overall this was a fabulous experience. i even got the "this was the best valentines day ever" from my wife. we cannot wait to go back and try the full menu.

Went here with my parents based on a recommendation from a friend. The waitress was so great & gave several recommendations (wish I knew her name) What to order: From Beirut with Passion Cocktail- all of the cocktails were so unique and I decided to go w this based on the waitress' recommendation... sweet and different, order if you like fruity drinks (but not overwhelmingly fruity!) Brussels sprouts- traditionally these would not be the first thing I would choose from the menu but they were sooooo delicious Mixed grill kebabs- chicken was especially good, tender and juicy. served w thin pitas and a tasty sauce A Date with chocolate dessert- chocolate souffle type dessert- you must order it if you love chocolate. Nice twist on souffle ambiance in the main dining room is awesome and has a great vibe. dimly lit, high ceilings, and great wood work. cozy, yet trendy very impressed w the overall dining experience.
