A Nite 2 Remember
Went there for a birthday get together. Was amazed we never saw this spot before. Love the atmosphere, love the service, best of all love the views you see on the rooftop lounge! Will definitely be going there on a regular basis :)

new chef equals fabulous dining
Lured here by a coupon, and not expecting much, we wound up having a delightful experience. They have recently brought in an accomplished veteran chef cooking solid authentic Italian food so older reviews should be discounted. This is quite possibly the best Neo Classic Italian restaurant in the neighborhood and could hold its own with anything in Bay Ridge. The staff is friendly and helpful, the fritto misto is to die for (and would feed three people) and the zuppa de pesce was elegant and most delicious with its lobster tail over homemade fettucini. The lower floor of the restaurant is sedate and comfortable; the upper floor has a bar and tv screens and a more casual vibe. Both floors serve the same food. Diners on both floors have views of lower Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty but the better views are on the upper floor. With seating for 200 in the combined space, this is one of the few places in Park Slope suitable for a catered event.

were not in kansas?
my friend and i went here last night before a show, after reading the review on menu pages. unfortunately our experience couldn't have been more average and less "cosy" new york. the pasta was average at best, the dessert equally as average and the service surprisingly "rookie". i am not one to trash, everyone has an off night but i certainly wouldn't go back

Good food and Atmosphere
As a new restaurant , the place is very nicely decorated. Great floor space and outdoor balconies. The food was very good and diversified. The restaurant has an upscale feel but the menu pricing does not reflect this. I was shocked. The menu pricing is great. It is like eating in a high end restaurant but with pricing of a pizzeria but the main difference is the high end quality food. The manager told me when I questioned him on how this is possible with such a beautiful restaurant, he informed me that the wants to offer to everyone great product for a reasonable price. Good enough by me. They have out door dining and bar service overlooking the skyline of Manhattan. Great views. I expected the service to be slow knowing it was a new restaurant but although it was a little slow at first, being there a few times they have improved. This is expected. Overall, a great experience for a Park Slope dining/lounge experience. The restaurant and bar areas are on different levels, taking an elevator to each floor. Nice touch of elegance to this. The restaurant and bar are in the Hotel, one of the better hotels in New York area. I say thumbs up for the food, bar, excitement and fun.
