Honest and Authentic Italian!
Why the name of the restaurant is "The Pomegranate," I'm not positive, but I couldn't care less. My whole family--including my picky little brother and properly-raised Italian mother--loved everything about the restaurant! It's a small place with a very authentically Italian approach to dining. The servers took excellent care of us and the food was phenomenal! If you're a fan of humus, try out the cecina under stuzzichini on the menu. This place is a great choice!

Great find!
I was taking my parents out to dinner before a broadway show so I needed a place close to the theater. I searched for an Italian place in the West mid 50's sorting by 'good reviews' on menupages.com and I came across this place. The food was delicious! The prices were extremely reasonable and the staff was very nice. My wife and I will come back again by ourselves! Thanks!

locals only
this place is an authentic, amazing find just off the tourist path. Will not want to miss the Burrata. Yum

great local place
I love this place. It's close to where I work and I eat here 2-3 times a week. It has a nice family run vibe. Great food. The grilled salmon in particular is very good.

Delicious Italian Food
Food was great, except 2 of the pasta dishes we ordered came to the table cold. When the waitress returned the heated dishes to us it was absolutely delicious. Small portions but good food.

Be careful with the wine!
The price of the wines are not shown in the main menu. We asked for a glass of house wine and the check showed $12! Food was good, not superb, and portions are on the low side. I will still go back, but no wine.

Quality Gem In Theater Dist
Only 2 avenues away from the Theater District. A little small but quaint Italian Restaurant. Food was fabulous and very reasonable. Service was attentive and friendly from the moment we walked in till we were finished. Will definately will be returning again and again. Top Pick!!!!
