I live and work in the area and have been earting at the IL Mattone for years now. I introduced the food to this pretty big firm that I work for. They just love it. Last Friday my company ordered 30 pies from them. They wont eat any other pizza in the area. The pizza is always fresh and delicious. They say Il Mattone is the real deal. I will keep referring clients to you.

This is the best Italian place i have been to in the city. I know the owners through work and was told to go there not only by him but also everyone else who went there by knowing him and you dont get any better than here. Also I cant help but rate this high seeing that the owner used to bring me free food from here when i used to work with him. Best Gnocchi every. Simply amazing.

I've been ordering take-out from this place for over a year and finally decided to go in person. Our waiter was extremely courteous and attentive and the food was excellent as usual. The seafood ravioli is definitely a standout menu item and is by far the best I've ever had found anywhere. I look forward to going back soon.

Starting out with the bread and olive oil, to the appetizers, main course, desert and drinks, everything was OUTSTANDING. And for the waiter, It was Good old fashioned service with a SMILE. Thanks IL Mattone, We'll be back! P.S. Great Atmosphere.

Best Pizza in Tribeca (if not Manhattan). I love it! The Vodka sauce is amazing. I usually get it as a side with the Eggplant Parm Sandwhich (also very good). This place is great for delivery or for dining in. Very chill and no fuss. Try it.

Quiet, unpretentious Tribeca spot. Try to avoid the bread with olive oil and cheese that they put on the table or you won't have room for the always excellent food. No scene, just good, well priced food- a rarity in this part of town. They deliver to the neighborhood.
